Stop the Cuts - Save Geelong's Community Care Service

Stop the Cuts - Save Geelong's Community Care Service

The City of Greater Geelong Council is trying to shut down our Community Care Serivce.

This will cause the loss of up to 250 local jobs and will puts the care of 3,000 vulnerable and elderly people at risk, meaning they could end up being forced to move out of the family home and into residential aged care.

We are members of the local Geelong community who are outraged and devastated by this decision.

We are doing everything it takes to make sure that council votes to keep this service operating at their next meeting on 10 April 2025.
